Hi, I’m Amrit, the heart behind Mindspa.
I’m a counselling psychologist, certified life coach, emotional intelligence coach, and a trauma- and grief-informed practitioner. I’m also an intermediate level Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
But beyond my credentials, I am a human being who has walked through heartbreak, uncertainty, and the messy middle of transitions. I know how lonely it can feel when your inner world is unravelling, while life around you keeps moving.
Over the years, I’ve sat with people who’ve whispered their deepest fears, cried through broken relationships, questioned their worth, and struggled with the whirlwind inside.
I’ve witnessed that healing doesn’t come from fixing… it comes from being seen, felt, and supported in the right space and that’s the kind of space Mindspa is.
My work is grounded in compassion, neuroscience, somatic wisdom, and lived experience. Whether you work with me 1:1 or join a healing circle, you’re not alone in your journey anymore.
Humans are kind and resilient, it is just a matter of giving you the space and opportunity to come back to yourself.
Sessions at Mindspa will remind you, who you were before the world told you otherwise.
Walking the Path With You
I don’t just teach nervous system regulation, I have to actively practice it. I will never ask you to practice a level of self-compassion, boundary-setting, or rest that I am not actively practicing myself. We are doing this human thing together.
When I am not in a session or a workshop, I enjoy watching content with heart-warming vibes. Since I used to work as a 3D animator at some point in my life I still enjoy watching animated movies. In between sessions I am usually planning a trip to some place, grounding myself or just dancing through some energy that I feel. I tend to gather most of my sound healing instruments and keep practicing some new combinations of sounds.
You might also find me taking photos of sunsets and just being in nature.
